MISSION: Incomplete
Deng... i almost attempted 3 nights in a row of partying!! First night was supposed to be sipping-margs-in-lounge kinda nite ler... but our excursion troop only went as far as... Sunway +_+ (took us about 15 minutes only plus p[h]arking and all)... in a oh-so-familiar place, Cafe Flam :O Second night in the itinerary was REDZONE (please scroll down for full details :D)!!! As for the third night, plan was to go to TIESTO yo... BUT! ...kaki-kaki (literally & figuratively) hasn't build stamina for back to back rave session yet hahaha
Night 1
With much enthusiasm we (me+hsin) decided to implement our long-planned night at The Loft on Thursday, hoping to drag Jon and Rachel along. Unfortunately, after not-so-successful negotiation with hsin's mom added with Rachel's uncertainty and Jon's busy schedule, the group ended up consisting of me+hsin+victor (the new addition to our hong-souness)... very small.. we know... it's one of the reasons why i was not up to going down to KL. Moreover, hsin was only allowed to go out if she tells her mom she's going to Pyramid... so if we did go then 'twas the day hsin musavada ..to mom! hehe not that it's such a horrid lil thing la ... anywayz looking at our circumstances, Pyramid indeed! So there we were, the 3 of us in victor's green charade... on our way to Sunway. The first (and only viable choice) place we went to was Cafe Flam. Now how do i sum up that place..? Hmmm...For those who went there before then... good for yoU! for those of you who haven't and don't know how the place was like... let's just say you can very well live without ever going to that place la yA? hehe i told my ex-colleague about bumping his [hot dancer] gf there and he was like "WHAT THE HELL WERE U DOING THERE??? IT'S A PLACE FOR OLD UNCLE LIKE ME..... NOT FOR YOU!!!!" I do not wish to rebutt his comment la ya? hahaha
But anyway while we were there, we started dialing our phone for more kaki to lepak with haha fortunately Isaac was around and so he came by. Had a few drinks outside at the corridor there chit-chatting... checking out humans and trying to enjoy the spin. Me and Hsin did went in once to check out the dancefloor (and also crowd laa) and to our horror... nobody was dancing +_+ even to Pussycat Dolls Dont Cha :O Though later we found out why ler... everybody starts screaming when Crazy Frog came on O.O the moment that happened we decided to scram ... SHOCKIN'! Time to go home and i didn't get wasted of course :P tho i was high after the few bouts of bottoms-up haha just in time to get me all WEeeeeeeeeeeeee straight into bed. One of the nicest way to go LalaLand (alone) .. Luvly :D I think i've had enough of the Sunway night scene at least until the next decade hahaha.. and we're moving onnnnnN!
Night 2
OH this was AWESOME! Redzone Pit Party 2006 @ Sepang F1Circuit - DA BOMB! Supposed to start at 6pm... party all evening long into the morning until 2am. Of course i'm not (yet) that powderful hahaha ANywayz i had to go for dinner with Amy and friends first as it was her birthday as well - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO AIMI RAZALI! We went to Magical Theatre Restaurant at Pyramid... quite interesting concept actually and they have an in-house DJ! not bad for a decent-sized restaurant.. plus the DJ is quite talkative so he's rather entertaining actually... been hassling the birthday girl the whole night! haaha the magician even ask her to go onstage to be the "assistant" hahaha lucky thing she's sporting cuz the magician and DJ are two helluva buayas O.o As for the food .. not bad! For that kinda price got standard la.. oh but the cute thing is the drinks tho.. they have corny names for the drinks like *cough cough* 'I Love You' .. 'First Love' .. and hMmm the list goes on..i ordered like some coconut drink.. can't really remember the name liaoz. So i managed to catch 2 sessions of magic show and lotsa live performance by this CHinese duo.. the style and everything similar to those u see in Halo Cafe next door but they were good! Better than the ones i've seen in Halo Cafe so far. Thumbs up! So after settling everything at Pyramid, left for Sepang at 9.30 like that.
+++Nazreen, Riz, meeee+++There we were...me and the designated driver, Riz (THANK YOU!! :D), rushed by our friends cuz the free entry upon registration was until 9.30 only... and we started our journey from Sunway at 9.30 hahaha As i was holding McD in the car and smarty me let go of the drinks and SplASH~~ Orange McFizz flood on front passenger legroom. Tai sei (DT:Should die) lor.. half the journey there i had to dilute the drink then soak it up with lotsa lotsa lotsa tissues to prevent ants infestation +_+ Let's move away from the yucky topic.... we got there in about half an hour's time but then took the wrong turning - we ended up going around all the gates around the circuit but the correct one. So had to make a U-turn and go back to traffic light #1. There were actually miniature white hot-air balloon to assist us all the way to the location but we missed the first one so ..DENG! Anywayz... finally reached Redzone, got through the entrance without hassle (da power of connections wei :P) and wa lAh! WE're ready to party!!! When we reached there friends told us ATB will be up next in 10 minutes time~~ woHoOOo!! we're on the right track... on the right mood ... definitely right timing... BUT WRONG SHOES! Blardy i was on 3 1/2 inches heels ~__~ it just hit me that it's a rave party and not like any other club! I do confess it's my first time raving therefore i should be able to forgive myself *sadhu sadhu sadhu*

Words could not justify his performance that night; he kickstarted his play with his newer tracks... going steady all the way with occasional "pulse": i love this part when he brings the music downright mild and soothing, then steadily gather momentum and then going for the ....BOoM! - at which point i just jumped excitedly (in the freaking heels) fisting hands in the air. Somewhere into the second hour of mixing, he progressed stage by stage, pound by pound, patiently leading the dancefloor to his all-too-familiar beat of '9pm Till I Come'........ and finally upsurge that ONE powerful pulse which we called the CLIMAX of Redzone 2006 *crowd jumping madly, screaming at the top of their lungs alongside ATB himself.....aaahHhhhhh*

p/s: Hail to Jen's heels (didn't break nor bended after all the pounding weight it carried) :D although i did forgive myself for wearing heels to rave but my feet refused to as i had feet ache from the moment i took it off till the following Monday... still sore abit +_+ and now the bottom part is hardened already... i forgot what do you call that thing.. hmMm....

Night 3
Ah... tis the night that never was hahaha the Tiesto that we missed! Due to lack of sleep as well as limited members of the circle going to the event, none of those who went to Redzone attended Tiesto. Quite a big chance that we missed out unfortunately.. but according to my sources the event was not up to par (that gave some comfort also la hehe).
Anywayz i ended up watching 'i not stupid too' with my family at GSC The Summit - one of those rare (and weird) occasion when Dad turns impulsive and decided to do something out of the ordinary. EXCELLENT movie i would say. shall do a review when the screening at the cinema is over - if i can still remember to do so la :P
Anyhoo... the weekend was a good one! cheErs for more to come :D

Communication breakdown @ home
literally.... +_+ modem cannot use ... now house phone also cannot use... technology... aih O.O My latest highlight will be the Bangkok trip!!! but unfortunately i don't have the resources and convenience to do it now so this post is just gonna be a teaser sort of hahaha (be patient obaa... :P) *blasting Towa Tei on cha boh's comp while she's sleeping like a pig behind* classes just got kick-started this week... rather relaxing as i only have 3 days of lectures and tutorials while the other 2 is h-0-l-i-d-a-y!! *can feel cha boh's eyes staring me to death* sorry ler... keep rubbing it in hahaha just that i've never experienced such wonderful schedule before (except for the 8am classes part -_-".... which we had been going in late for the whole week adi :P) 3 subjects: 1 politic, 1 porn-o-graphic and 1 pathetic. #1 Media Politics and Public Life - ..................... i'm sure you don't want me to elaborate on this #2 Television and Popular Culture - ahh.. this is the happening one.. cuz on our second lecture was screening of this documentary called 'Dreamworld'. It talks about female behaviour and appearance in male's "dreamworld"... *ahem*.... i think i don't have to explain further hahaha anywayz the documentary was rather explicit actually kaka almost porn-o-graphic (strangely, i slept off towards the end +_+) #3 Media Audiences - the subject itself is supposed to be interesting but due to the lack of proficiency in English of our lecturer.... it's a disaster waiting to strike *NOOOOOOOooooooo* it's just too easy to fail ler in this case O.o HOWEVER, this is only the first 2 weeks so things may turn out differently as we venture further into the unit guide .... then it's judgement day :O
